Deputy Digital Director – July 2024 to Present
As the go-to video editor in the Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom, I help the communications department advance the administration’s priorities and initiatives. I create high-performing content for digital platforms, including videos assembled with on-the-ground and in-studio footage, original graphics, b-roll, news clips, and more.
The content I have created for the Governor’s Office have garnered a combined 195.5 million views. My work has spanned bill signings, multiple special sessions, the aftermath of the 2024 election, the response to the January 2025 Los Angeles firestorms, the celebration of 175 years of statehood, and two state budget presentations.
I additionally help shepherd content through review processes, contribute to the broader strategic planning for the office’s digital messaging, and co-lead instructional presentations to agency communications staff. After helping launch the Governor’s Creator Corps in 2025, I co-manage creator integration into both Office events and each creator’s existing content program.
